The American Medical Association has created resources to help guide physician practices through the successful implementation of telehealth and remote patient monitoring.

   1. The Future of Health blueprint has been developed to address the digital health disconnect and achieve optimized digitally enabled care.

2. Telehealth Quick Guide

   1. In an effort to keep our health care workers and patients safe amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the AMA has designed resources to support physicians and practices in expediting the implementation of telemedicine, so care can continue to be provided to those who need it most.

3. Telehealth Implementation Playbook

   1. Telehealth can be used as an alternative to traditional in-person care delivery and, in certain circumstances, can be used to deliver care such as the diagnosis, consultation, treatment, education, care management and self-management of patients.
