The MSS will be hosting a virtual opening session on June 3, 2024, from 7-9 p.m. Central. Register now to hear section updates from the governing council and liaisons, and receive an introduction to parliamentary procedure. The floor will be open for nominations. This session is mandatory for those attending the 2024 MSS Annual Meeting.

Only credentialed delegates will be permitted to vote on policy matters and in elections. The credentialing form will be posted when credentialing begins.

Funding Letter of Support

Students may request a Funding Letter of Support addressed to your medical school administrator or state medical society executive to gain funding for the meeting. Submit your request by May 31. 

Meeting documents will be posted once available.

Students may request a Letter of Support addressed to your medical school dean, clerkship director or advisor to verify your participation in the meeting. Submit your request by May 31.

Dates and deadlines have been established for MSS policymaking leading up to the 2024 MSS Annual Meeting: 

  • March 31: (5 p.m. Central) Final resolutions due
  • April 8: (Noon Central) Virtual Reference Committee opens
  • April 21: (5 p.m. Central) Virtual Reference Committee closes
  • May 20: Reference Committee report released

Visit the MSS Virtual Reference Committee forum to review and comment on policy proposals that will be discussed at the meeting. Items will be posted as they become available. The deadline to submit comments for consideration by the MSS reference committee is April 21 at 5 p.m. Central.

Elections will take place during the June meeting.
